Arizona ~ June 2008

We went to Arizona for a few days in June 2008 because Josh's mom rented a condo down there. His aunt and cousin were also there. We went to some gold mine place while we were there and just hung out at the condo where we played games and went swimming. We had lots of fun! Thanks Nona!

Here we are at the Gold Mine...

Josh's Birthday 2008

While we were in Arizona, Josh's mom took us to a Japanese restaurant to celebrate Josh's Birthday a little bit early. It was a lot of fun and very good! Josh got to eat curry and yakisoba so he was very excited about that! We told them it was Josh's Birthday so they brought him this boat with green tea ice cream and fruit in it. We didn't know they charged us $8.00 for it until we got the bill! Ha ha!

Our Cruise!!!

Right after I graduated, on May 2, 2008, Josh and I left for the airport for our cruise! We flew into Orlando a couple days early since we were flying standby and wanted to make sure we were there on time. We left for our cruise on May 4th! Our cruise was with Royal Caribbean and our ship was Mariner of the Seas. It was one of my most favorite vacations ever! Cruises are definitely the way to travel! We left out of Port Canaveral and it was way cool to see all the ships there. I really want to go on a Disney Cruise... Their ship was so cute/fun looking. I'll just need to talk Josh into that one...

We were at sea until our first stop, Labadee, Haiti, on May 6th. Royal Caribbean has their own port so it wasn't crowded at all and they brought food out to us for lunch and we had a BBQ right on the beach!

May 7th ~ Our next stop was Ocho Rios, Jamaica! We went on an fun excursion to some botanical gardens and a waterfall we got to climb up. It was a blast! They also took us into the city and let us shop. I HATED it! The people were so pushy and rude. They would put their jewelry on you and all their crap in your hands and when you tried to give it back and walk away they were so mean! They'd say, "Why do you hate everything I made?! I made that with my own hands!" Which is a bunch of crap because everyone sells that exact same stuff! I was so uncomfortable that I made Josh leave! Ha Ha!

Thursday, May 8th was our 3rd and FAVORITE stop! We went to the Cayman Islands! We absolutely LOVED that place! It was so so pretty and there weren't people everywhere pestering you! The other part that made us fall in love with this place was Stingray City! Probably the coolest place on earth... or close to. We took a ride in this boat for like 20 minutes and stopped in the middle of the ocean. The water wasn't even deep! It was only like 3 feet-ish deep and there were stingrays EVERYWHERE! It was so freaking cool! I was a little nervous at first because I'd be snorkeling and then suddenly there was a stingray right underneath me! Josh loved this place so much! We took underwater cameras but my pictures sucked. Josh's were way better.

On the boat that took us to Stingray City!!!

Our 6th day on the ship was Friday, May 9th and it was also our last stop, Cozumel. The water was the prettiest water I have ever seen. It was so blue and clear. We didn't have an excursion for this trip so we just shopped around and then went back on the ship. There weren't any beaches around that we could use and we didn't care enough to take a taxi, so we didn't!

Saturday, May 10th was spent at sea...
Mostly we just...

Went swimming...

Ate...

Josh probably ate 7 cheesecakes. Whole ones. Seriously.
Watched movies...
Played games...
And read books...
We had the best time ever!

This was our dinner group.

The older couple was from Canada and they were so cute and nice! The guy kept offering to buy us the drink of the day and we always politely declined. It wasn't until the lady put two and two together, the fact that we're from Utah and kept declining the drinks, that she figured out we were LDS and really didn't drink at all. Ha ha! Her husband still didn't get it and she would just tell him, "No, honey. They don't drink." It was nice of them to offer though!

That pretty much sums up our cruise! We can't wait to go on another one!
Hopefully sooner rather than later!!!

Snowboarding 2007 ~ 2008 Season

Here are some pictures of my amazingly talented and handsome husband!

I got Josh this snowboard off of Whiskey Militia for super cheap. It wasn't anything special so Josh decided to decorate it (although I'm sure he wouldn't quite use those words...).

Josh also got a pretty bad black eye that season too...
It happened on January 14th, 2008.
