Happy Pioneer Day!  We started the day of with some wheat cereal.  Today went amazingly well compared to yesterday's feedings that were full of screams and cries.  We got wise and mixed the cereal with breast milk instead of formula.  It made a HUGE difference!  He actually liked it!  Hopefully I never dry up because we would be in trouble!  This boy does NOT like formula.  I can't really blame him though, it really stinks so I can only imagine what it tastes like... Anyway, LOOK AT THAT PERFECT FACE!!!  I just love him to pieces!

Oh how we love this swing!  It can literally put him to sleep in seconds.  These 3 pictures were all taken within a minute of each other!  Look how cute his chubby little hands are all clasped together!

Playing with his current favorite toy, the bird.  For some reason I always call it a bee even though it looks nothing like one.  It drives Josh crazy!  :)

As you can see, we have a very hip and happenin' 24th of July!  :)

All tuckered out after the exhausting task of eating solids for the first time.  He HATES being swaddled but it's the only way he'll sleep because he messes with his face and wakes himself up.

 After a disastrous first feeding of cereal this morning, we were hoping the 2nd feeding for dinner would go a bit better.  Sadly, it did not.  It was worse.  He screamed and cried the entire time.  I was cramming spoonfuls of cereal into him mouth between cries.

After recovering from dinner, The Hoser's came over for a bit...
