Peyt's 2nd Birthday

My dad had a little party for Peyt's 2nd Birthday at his house. We had a BBQ, cake and Peyt opened her presents. A good time was had by all. Here are some pictures from the evening. Happy Birthday Pete! We love you!!!

A quick side note... Jordyn snuck into Peyton's crib when they were supposed to be napping and gave her a little haircut. Hence the reason her hair looks a little sad. Ha ha! :)

Claire Byrd!!!

My beautiful niece, Claire, was born on April 15, 2010! We got to go see her just hours after she was born. She wasn't growing so the doctor decided to induce my sister. She was born 3 weeks early and weighed 5 pounds and 13 ounces and was 18 inches long. She was so little and cute with tons of dark hair! I love her so much already! Congrats Barb and J Byrd!!!

Her body temperature was low so she had to chill under these warm lights and we couldn't holder her. :( My mom was dying to hold her!

The nurses would do her hair in all sorts of stylish ways. I'd never seen a baby's hair done like this!
