My beautiful niece, Claire, was born on April 15, 2010! We got to go see her just hours after she was born. She wasn't growing so the doctor decided to induce my sister. She was born 3 weeks early and weighed 5 pounds and 13 ounces and was 18 inches long. She was so little and cute with tons of dark hair! I love her so much already! Congrats Barb and J Byrd!!!
Her body temperature was low so she had to chill under these warm lights and we couldn't holder her. :( My mom was dying to hold her!

We came back the next day so I could finally hold her!
The nurses would do her hair in all sorts of stylish ways. I'd never seen a baby's hair done like this!
I FINALLY got my hands on her!!!
My mom came in while I was holding her and was also very excited to hold her for the first time!
